Living in Shenzhen, China since 2010.

Zhang came to Shenzhen in early 2010 to help develop the Shenzhen Community Art Center and has since travelled abroad extensively on art residencies. Zhang feels that art connects her with people and cultures and has expanded her worldview. Zhang experiments with a variety of media; painting is the most sincere form of her self-expression. She creates her paintings in a way similar to calligraphy, balancing the shapes, colours and spaces to complement each other naturally.
