Sun Guangyi   孫廣義
(b. 1967 in Liaoning Province, China)

Sun Guangyi studied traditional Chinese painting in Chenzhou Art Institute of Liaoning Province in 1981 and graduated from Liaoning Culture and Art University in 1992. In 2003 he traveled to Tibet of West-Northern in Yunnan Province and West-Southern in Sichuan Province, and created many paintings in title of and . In 2007, Sun Guangyi became a monk for a short time to practice Buddhism in life, and visited some holy land in Xishuangbanna of Yunnan Province and Burma. He walked to Jizu Mountain of Dali from Xishuangbanna with a thankful heart for twenty-five days. Sun Guangyi now lives in Yunnan Province.
