I see Andy as a smart metropolitan artist who is very skillful. I love the illusion found in his work: how at first they appear like blurry photographs, but upon closer look it is apparent that they are, in fact, paintings. The subtle sense of movement, even in his architectural paintings, is evocative of transient dreams or fading memories. I found this mesmerising.
