I met Julia, an elegant Shanghainese artist living in California, at the very beginning of Sin Sin Fine Art. I sensed an unmistakable strength in her abstract paintings that are bursting with vivid colours and powerful energy, while her fluid brush strokes reminded me of calligraphy. I found her work to be unusual, and yet highly accessible.
