Satoshi Katayama
(b. 1975 in Nanto-city, Japan)

Satoshi Katayama was born in 1975 in Nanto-city, founded on the disperse-houses village, called “Sankyoson” in Toyama prefecture, Japan. He is a self-taught artist without having professional art training since he had been a soft tennis player from 9 to 31-year olds and working for an officer of the city government until the age of 34.

In 2010 he started to work as a calligrapher and from 2012 to 2013 he had been traveling and working on street performances in many countries such as New York, London and Paris.
